Maiz, which began as a food truck in 2018, now has locations in JLT and Dubai Hills. Known for fresh, high-quality dishes at reasonable prices, Maiz recently won the Whats On award for best Latin food and was recognized by Time Out.

  • The catering team will handle the delivery and setup, providing all the necessary equipment (based on 2-meter grazing table), including: 
    • Custom-made trays and decoration
  • Disposable & biodegradable cutlery, crockery and plates are included
  • Some amendments to the listed menu can be made to satisfy dietary requirements by liaising directly with Maiz in the chat section after checkout

2. Menu can be altered slightly to accomodate dietary restrictions by reaching out to the provider in the chat section after booking. Vegan options are available
3. The time of your event will determine when the team will attend your location to set-up
4. A Taquero will set up your 2 meter grazing table with all your Mexican favorites
5. Custom-made trays and decorations are included, and will be picked up on the following day
6. Disposable & Bio degradable cutlery, crockery, and plates are included

Cancellation and refund policy for this Culinary Collection:
• 3 or less days prior to the event, the refund is 0%
• 7 or less days prior to the event, the refund is 60%
• More than 7 days prior to the event, the refund is 100%

    Choose the date and time for your event. Once you book the package, we will check the availability of the provider. You will not be charged at this point, and we only hold the amount on your card.

    If the provider is available we will book the event and charge your card. You will then be connected with the provider to discuss any details.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

Each catering partner has their own preparation time before they can commit to the event. At the time of checkout, you can see the next available time slots for the catering partner. This allows our catering partners ample time to prepare and ensures a seamless catering experience for you and your guests.

What happens after I checkout?

Once you checkout, you will receive an email confirmation to let you know that your order has been received. If a vendor accepts your order, you'll receive another email confirming your order and you will be able to chat/call the vendor on the YouCater website, iOS app or Android app.

In a rare case, if a vendor cannot accept your event we will revert your payment promptly.

What if I need to make changes to my order after it's been confirmed?

No problem! If you need to make changes to your order, simply reach out to the vendor directly through our platform. They'll do their best to accommodate your requests, depending on their availability and the timing of your event.

Is there a cancellation policy for orders?

Each vendor on our platform may have their own cancellation policy. We recommend reviewing the cancellation terms outlined by the vendor before placing your order. If you need assistance or have any questions about cancellations, feel free to reach out to us via email or WhatsApp!
